How it Works

Step 1: Get Your Free Quote Before sending your device, you must fill out our online "Get a Quote" form. This form helps us understand the issue with your device and provide you with an accurate estimate for the repair.

  • What to include: Be as detailed as possible about the problem. Include the device make and model, a description of the damage, and any symptoms you're experiencing.

  • Photos/Videos (Optional but Recommended): Uploading photos or a short video of the damage can help us assess the issue more accurately and speed up the quoting process.

Wait For Our Response 

Step 2: Wait for Our Response Once you submit the quote form, our team will review your information. We will then contact you via email (or your preferred contact method) with a detailed quote for the repair, along with further instructions on how to package and ship your device. Please do not send your device until you have received and approved our quote.

Prepare your device for shipping 

Step 3: Prepare Your Device for Shipping Once you've approved the quote and received our shipping instructions, it's time to prepare your device.

  • Back Up Your Data: This is crucial! We strongly recommend backing up all your personal data (photos, contacts, documents, etc.) before sending your device. While we take utmost care, data loss can occur during repair, and we are not responsible for any lost data.

  • Remove SIM/SD Cards: Please remove any SIM cards, SD cards, or other removable media.

  • Disable Passcodes/Locks: If possible, disable any passcodes, PINs, or unlock patterns. If this is not possible due to the device's condition, please provide the passcode securely as instructed in our email to allow us to test the device after repair.

  • Power Off Device: Ensure your device is completely powered off before packaging.

  • Secure Packaging: Package your device securely in a sturdy box with ample padding (bubble wrap, packing peanuts, crumpled paper) to prevent further damage during transit. We recommend using a shipping box that is slightly larger than your device to allow for sufficient cushioning.

Ship Your Device

Step 4: Ship Your Device Follow the shipping instructions provided in our email. This will include our shipping address and any specific details for your chosen shipping method. We highly recommend using a trackable and insured shipping service (e.g., USPS Priority Mail, FedEx, UPS) to protect your valuable device during transit. You are responsible for the shipping costs to send the device to us.

Repair & Returned. 

Step 5: Repair & Return Shipping Once we receive your device, our certified technicians will perform the agreed-upon repair. We will keep you updated on the repair status. Once the repair is complete and rigorously tested, we will securely package your device and ship it back to you. Return shipping costs will be included in your initial quote or charged separately if agreed upon.

Q: How long does the mail-in repair process take?

A: Upon receiving your device, our technicians will conduct a thorough diagnostic. If we discover any additional issues not covered in the original quote, we will contact you immediately with an updated quote for your approval before proceeding with any additional repairs. We will never perform work without your explicit consent.

Q: Is my device safe during shipping?

A: While we take every precaution on our end, the safety of your device during transit to us depends on how securely you package it and the shipping service you choose. We strongly recommend using a reputable courier with tracking and insurance. We will use secure and appropriate packaging for the return shipment.

Q: What is your repair warranty/policy?

A: We stand behind our work. All repairs performed by BELTECH come with a 30-day warranty on parts and labor from the date of return shipment. This warranty covers the specific repair performed. It does not cover new damage, liquid damage, or issues unrelated to the original repair.

Q: What if my device is unrepairable?

A: In the rare event that your device is deemed unrepairable after diagnostic (e.g., severe irreparable damage, cost of repair exceeds device value), we will inform you. You will only be responsible for a diagnostic fee of [$30] (if applicable, state clearly) and return shipping, or you can choose to have us responsibly recycle the device for you at no extra charge.
